Jim Oliver
Jim retired from Yankee Alliance, a group of hospitals and healthcare organizations nationwide, based in Andover, Massachusetts in 2018. He served as the organizations President and CEO for 10 years. He was the fifth employee hired by Yankee and over 30 years held several positions of increasing responsibility. He currently lives in Bethel, Maine with his wife (an avid quilter) and enjoys spending time with his two grandchildren who also live in town.
Over the years Jim gained a love for woodworking, woodturning, and woodcarving. He is also an avid bird carver. He had the opportunity to meet James and learn about Eagles for Veterans through “Chip Chats” a woodworking magazine. After a few calls and emails, he began assisting in the carving of the eagles. It’s personally rewarding to be a part of the creation of these pieces of art that honor the service of those who serve and have served our great country!
